How Hourly Harvest Works — Active Claiming Explained

Hourly Harvest is an active yield protocol. Your rewards are not automatically delivered to your wallet. You must claim each hour within a one-hour window or that reward is permanently forfeited. ## The Core Mechanic When you lock $SKR, the system calculates your total reward pool based on your stake amount and the multiplier for your chosen duration. This pool is divided into equal hourly slots — one per hour of your lock period. Each slot opens at the start of its hour and closes exactly 60 minutes later. If you claim within that window, the reward is yours. If you miss the window, the slot is marked as Forfeited and that portion of your reward is gone. ## Why Active Claiming? Passive staking rewards complacency. Hourly Harvest rewards engagement. Stakers who check in regularly and claim their windows consistently earn significantly more than those who lock and forget. This design also prevents instant drain on the treasury — rewards are only distributed to those who actively participate, which means the system can sustain higher multipliers over longer durations. ## The Hour Map Every stake has a visual Hour Map — a grid of coloured dots representing each claim window in your lock period. Dots change colour in real time: - **Amber** — Window is open. Click to claim now. - **Green** — Claimed. Reward secured. - **Red** — Forfeited. Window expired unclaimed. - **Grey** — Upcoming. Not yet open. The Hour Map gives you a live view of your yield performance across the entire lock duration. ## Durations and Multipliers Hourly Harvest offers four lock durations: - **3 Days** — 2.0× multiplier — 72 claim windows - **7 Days** — 2.5× multiplier — 168 claim windows - **21 Days** — 3.5× multiplier — 504 claim windows - **30 Days** — 4.0× multiplier — 720 claim windows Longer locks offer dramatically higher multipliers but require sustained attention over a longer period. Choose the duration that matches your availability and risk tolerance. ## Returning Your Stake Once your lock duration completes, your original stake becomes returnable. Use the Return Stake button to reclaim your principal. Your accumulated claimed rewards are separate — they are paid out during the lock period as you claim each hour. ## SGT Access Access to Hourly Harvest requires a Seeker Genesis Token (SGT). This is verified on-chain each time you connect your wallet. If your SGT is detected, you are granted access to lock, claim, and withdraw.
